KeymasterHey Sebastian,
all text strings in Kanso have been wrapped in proper WordPress functions, thus they can be translated with any internationalization plugin. In case you are making your website in German only (i.e. no multilingual support is required), I would suggest using the Quick Localization plugin.
Once you install the plugin, you can see that if allows adding sets of fields, where “Old” is the existing string (please note that the strings in WordPress are case-sensitive!), “New” is the new desired string, and “Domain” should say “satori” (without quotations marks) for each new set of fields.
If you are familiar with coding, another (cruder, yet simpler) option would be to just edit the file that generates the strings – it should be located in /wp-content/plugins/contact-form/grunion-contact-form.php). All translatable strings are wrapped in the translation functions “__()” and “_e()” as detailed here.
In case of difficulties with any of the methods do not hesitate to contact me!

KeymasterHey Rhodesman,
first of all, thank you for the purchase!
The possibility to add external links to the one-page mode was not initially conceived for Kanso, yet following user requests I’ve decided to implement it – it will be a part of the version 1.5 that I will make public very soon. Meanwhile, I’ve already uploaded the necessary files to add this feature in another topic here – please see the first two messages for details. Let me know if the provided solution works for you!
Sincerely,

KeymasterHey Andriana,
first of all, thank you for the purchase!
Please check that you are uploading the archive called “Sensei_Installable.zip” which is located inside the “Sensei_WP_Theme_Package” folder, which in turn is obtained by unzipping the main ThemeForest archive (as per the instructions provided on page 1 of the theme manual. Please let me know if you are uploading the mentioned file (“Sensei_Installable.zip”) and the problem still persists.
Sincerely,
Andrii / Satori Studiosatori
KeymasterHey Csaba,
regarding the second issue: it is difficult to give a definitive answer with the existing information – I will need to ask you for access to the admin back-end (you can send the details to support@satoristudio.net; I remember you’ve already done that once yet now the website doesn’t seem to load on my machine). I will also need more details about the problem: please clarify – as far as I understood you’ve created a copy of header.php with a new widget area code in the child folder, and added a new widget area in the functions.php file; and now the child theme’s header.php does not display the new widget area – is that correct?
Sincerely,
Andrii / Satori Studiosatori
KeymasterHey Mtaylor,
when you upload the image, please make sure that the „File URL” field displays the direct url of the image file (ends with the filename of the uploaded file), instead of an attachment URL (ending with „?attachment_id=xx”); in the latter case, press the „File URL” button below the url field before saving the image. Please let me know if the problem still persists!
Sincerely,
Andrii / Satori Studiosatori
KeymasterHey Mtaylor,
could you please clarify:
– which shortcode is that (is it connected to a third-party plugin?)
– could you please provide the URL of the page in question?
– could you please give me the exact string of the shortcode you are using? Thanks!
Sincerely,
Andrii / Satori Studiosatori
KeymasterNice one, Barbara! Should you face any issues in the process or have questions about the theme, do not hesitate to contact me ;)

KeymasterHey Mtaylor,
first of all, thank you for the purchase!
You can use the included demo style import file (“Kanso_demo_content_onepage.xml”) located in the “Resources” folder of the main downloadable ThemeForest archive – just follow the instructions in the “Import demo content” section of the theme manual (page 14). You can also import the slider from the theme demo by pressing the green “Import Slider” button in the “Revolution Slider” admin menu section; the slider data is located in the same folder (“Resources”).
Should you have additional questions about setting up the theme, do not hesitate to ask!
Sincerely,
Andrii / Satori Studiosatori
KeymasterHey KinkerL,
first of all, thank you for the purchase!
I’ve double-checked the theme, the footer background and text colour settings should work fine; could you please provide access to your WP backend (you can send the login and password to support@satoristudio.net), I will troubleshoot further. Thanks!
Sincerely,
Andrii / Satori Studiosatori
KeymasterHey Theweblady,
I’ve checked your website – the code you’ve inserted for the caption width does work :) Just try changing the “400px” to a larger number (e.g. “600px”) to adjust the width as you need it.
Sincerely,
Andrii / Satori Studio -
