KeymasterHey DKwan,
please try downloading this archive, unzipping it, and uploading the resulting file into the theme folder. Then refresh the website and let me know of any changes.
Sincerely,
Andrii / Satori Studiosatori
KeymasterHey Tuktop,
foremost, thank you for the purchase and the kind words!
I will go over the issues in the same order:
1). I am not sure I understood the situation fully – would you be able to provide a link to a live page so that I could have a look at the actual code? Thanks!
2). The Google Maps API does allow inserting a map without a mouse-scroll response, yet it is a wholly different approach than the one currently used in the theme (the embed). The non-scrollable maps require a somewhat more complicated setup, which is detailed here. I’m planning to implement it in a future version of Kanso, yet it might take some time; At the moment I’d recommend trying this plugin, which is also based on the Maps API3.
3). It hasn’t been envisaged in the back-end, yet you can always disable it by removing/commenting out lines 575-584 of the theme’s “header-functions.php” file. If you need help with that, just let me know.
Sincerely,

KeymasterHey Cbaker,
first of all, thank you for the purchase!
This feature hasn’t been envisaged in Kanso from the start, yet now that you’ve mentioned it I think it’s a nice thing to have; I’ve implemented the necessary code and compiled an archive for you – please download this file, unzip it, and upload the resulting files into the theme folder (/wp-content/themes/Kanso). Please let me know if the new code works!
Sincerely,
Andrii / Satori Studiosatori
KeymasterHey Fabio,
changing the position of the filter wasn’t envisaged in the theme’s back-end settings; however, I’ve prepared a custom file for you that implements this. I highly recommend doing such customizations via a child theme – please download this archive, unzip it, and upload the resulting file into the child theme folder. If you don’t want to use a child theme, you can upload the file into the main theme folder (/wp-content/themes/Kanso).
Sincerely,
Andrii / Satori Studiosatori
KeymasterHey Christopher,
I’ve investigated the issue and it seems that the settings work fine, it’s the z-indexes (i.e. layer sequence) of the background slider that need to be changed; I’ve prepared a fix – please unzip this archive and upload the resulting file into the theme folder, overwriting the existing file. Alternatively, you can simply add this piece to the theme’s CSS:
body { position: relative; z-index: -2; } #supersized { z-index: -1 !important; }
Please let me know if this works!
Sincerely,
Andrii / Satori Studiosatori
KeymasterHey Paul,
my apologies for the slow reply!
Please try turning on the “Force full width” option – that should tell the slider to always stretch the background images to full screen width; also, I can suggest adding the logo on as an image layer on a plain-blank background slide instead of the current setup – that should improve the mobile view as well.
Best,

KeymasterHey Neptoone,
first of all, thank you for the purchase, and my apologies for a slow reply!
The Kanso package includes the xml file with all content from the theme demo – please refer to page 14 of the manual on details about importing the content ;)
Should you encounter any difficulties in the process, do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
Andrii / Satori Studiosatori
KeymasterHey Chris,
I’ve just updated the Tokyo demo website to 3.9 – haven’t spotted any compatibility issues so far; should you encounter difficulties during or after a WP update – do not hesitate to contact me!
Sincerely,
Andrii / Satori Studiosatori
KeymasterHey Massaki,
My apologies for a slow reply!
At the moment your website looks like this from my machine – is the ads issue still topical? Have you tried re-installing the theme? Another step I would suggest is turning off all plugins and checking if any of them is the source of the issue.Sincerely,
Andrii / Satori Studio -
