Dear Zcalloway and Salvatoresisca,
first of all, thank you for the purchase and my apologies for the bug!
Please download this file from my repository, unzip it, and upload the contained php file into the following folder, using your ftp client: /wp-content/themes/Kabuki/includes/contact-form/ replacing the existing file. Let me know if this works!
Sincerely,
Andrew | Satori StudiosatoriKeymasterDear Ivan,
please send the URL and login details to support@satoristudio.net (no disclosure guaranteed), I will take a look at the settings and the code.
Sincerely,
Andrew | Satori StudiosatoriKeymasterHey Tim!
Thank you for expressing interest in our items!
To answer your question: the contact form can be inserted into any page or post using the special form generator, which lets you add or remove fields and adjust other settings. You can also insert the form into any of the widgetized areas, by simply copying the shortcode generated by the in-page form insertion system into a text widget.
If you’re using any of the popular subscription and mailing services such as MailChimp or Mad Mimi, I would highly recommend using the relevant third-party widgets (e.g. this and this) since they also allow for easy synchronization and mailing list management.
Should you have more questions, do not hesitate to ask!
Sincerely,
Andrew | Satori StudiosatoriKeymasterHey Clint,
first of all, thank you for the purchase!
The slider in the page you linked to is called the Recent Posts Slider – you can set it up in “Appearance -> Recent Posts Slider” admin menu; please see a screenshot of my demo’s settings here. Now if your front page is a blog posts page, you’ll need to visit the “Header” tab of the Theme Options panel and set the “Content of the custom header” option to “Recent Posts Slider”. If it’s a page, you can visit the page edit screen and choose the “Recent Posts Slider” from the drop-down in the box called “Custom Header” right below the text edit field.
Should you have more questions, do not hesitate to contact me!
Sincerely,
Andrew | Satori StudiosatoriKeymasterHey Ivan,
first of all, thank you for the purchase!
Please try checking the box beside the “Show custom header on blog-posts page” setting on the “Header” tab of the Theme Options panel. Let me know if this doesn’t solve the problem!
Sincerely,
Andrew | Satori StudiosatoriKeymasterDear Maz,
you are using the Recent Posts Slider instead of the Expanding Slider, hence the specific layout of the slides. To display the expanding slider, please choose it from the drop-down in the “Custom Header” box in the page editor (if you are setting up a slider for a particular page) or choose it among the “Content of the custom header” list in the “Header” tab of the Theme Options panel. To configure the slider, please visit the “Expanding slider” tab of the Theme Options panel. Should you require additional help with this issue, do not hesitate to approach me!
Sincerely,
Andrew | Satori StudiosatoriKeymasterHey Maz,
First of all, thank you for the purchase!
To optimize your time, I will provide to pieces of advice that may solve the issue, and if they don’t please post the URL of your expanding slider page so that I could look at the code and give a definite answer:
– please make sure that the images are added to the posts as feature images (please see the manual page 4 on how to add a featured image to a post).
– please ensure that the featured images are at least 317 pixels wide, otherwise they may float to the left and some of the text will sip to the right since the width of the slider windows is fixed.Sincerely,
Andrew | Satori StudiosatoriKeymasterDear Agatha,
I am not sure I understood the question, yet if you just need to rename the “Collage” tag at the bottom of the “Graphics” page to something else – please go to “Portfolio -> Tags” and edit the needed one. In case you want to change the URL slug for the page, you can do that under the heading in the page editor mode ;)
Sincerely,
Andrew | SatorisatoriKeymasterHey Dean,
first of all, thank you for the purchase!
Please accept my apologies, this is my fault as I made a small mistake in the code which resulted in the theme option “body text line height” to lose the pixel suffix and therefore be seen as “em” height format. Please download this updated file from my repository, unzip it, and upload into the theme folder (/wp-content/themes/Kabuki/), replacing the existing file. Thank you for noticing this, I will definitely include the fix in the next theme update!
Best,
Andrew | Satori StudiosatoriKeymasterDear Agatha,
I apologize for a slow reply! I’ve thought of a simple way to show only some of the tags on portfolio pages – take a look at the “Photography” and “Graphics” pages and let me know if that is what you were talking about.
Regarding your second question – WordPress does not allow creating two blog post pages by default, yet there are several options to closely emulate this behaviour, including:
– create two categories and assign them to posts that you want to see on one or the other page. The category listing pages can then be used as separate blog pages.
– use third-party plugins (e.g. the Advanced Post List to create lists of posts on any page you need.Sincerely,
Andrew | Satori Studio -
