KeymasterHey Alton,
first of all, thank you for the purchase!
Could you please tell me which version of IE you’re viewing Kanso with, so that I could troubleshoot accordingly. Thanks!
Best,

KeymasterHey Stephan,
first of all, thank you for the purchase!
All strings in Ikebana have been wrapped into respective functions according to WordPress internationalization standards, which means that they should be translatable by any third-party plugin that uses these functions. I haven’t used Polylang before, yet from its documentation I can see that it also makes use of the said functions. This page of the documentation might help you with translating the pre-set strings; if it doesn’t please provide access to your back-end by sending login and password to support@satoristudio.net (no disclosure guaranteed) – and I will troubleshoot the issue.
Sincerely,
Andrii / Satori Studiosatori
KeymasterHey Bren,
the three items you’ve listed are all controlled via the “functions.php” file, I can point you or your programmer to the places where the necessary code is located.
Regarding your second question: portfolio items on the blog posts page haven’t been envisaged by Ikebana’s design (just as the blog posts in the portfolio grid), so it is not possible to display the portfolio items in the blog without either customizing the “index.php” file or (a more recommended solution) creating a new custom template file based on the “index.php” with a custom WP_Query that would include both blog posts and portfolio items.

KeymasterHey Adam,
first of all, thank you for the purchase!
Please update to version 1.3 that is now available on ThemeForest – it corrects the bug. In order to update a WordPress theme, you can simply overwrite the theme’s files with their new versions via FTP.Should you have more questions, do not hesitate to ask!

KeymasterHey Syrina,
I would highly recommend uploading the slider contained in the “Resources” folder of the main ThemeForest downloadable archive (“Kanso_WP_Theme_Package”). The slider is identical with the one used in the demo, and you can import it by clicking on the green “Import Slider” button on the right hand side of the “Revolution Slider” admin section. I suspect that both of your questions about the slider would be solved in this case, yet I will briefly go through them anyway:
– in order for the slider to stretch the entire width of the page, both the “Fullscreen align” and “Force full width” parameters should be set to “On” in the slider settings page.
– there isn’t supposed to be space under the slider :) you can add some by adding custom CSS code into the “Style: Add Custom CSS” tab of the Theme Options panel.Regarding your last question: the order of the menu items corresponds to the order of the pages on the one-page layout; it can be controlled by changing the “Order” setting in the “Page Attributes” box while in the page editor mode for the particular page. This and more information on the one-page layout can be found in the “One-Page Website” and “Menu” sections of the theme manual.
Should you have additional questions, do not hesitate to ask!

Let’s troubleshoot this one :) First, please make sure that you are following the same steps for adding the images as below:
1). in the “Revolution Slider” admin menu, click on the blue “Edit Slides” button next to the slider you want to edit
2). the slides list will open; click “Edit slide” or “New Slide” at the bottom
3). in the slide edit screen, scroll to the middle and press on the blue “Add layer: image” button. If you were following the same steps and the slider still returns an error, please let me know, I will continue searching for the cause of this.
Sincerely,
Andrii / Satori Studiosatori
KeymasterHey Bren,
please try the following: open the “header-functions.php” theme file (either in the “Appearance -> Editor” admin menu or by downloading it from the server and opening in your code editor of choice), find the line with the text “Truncate text on portfolio and blog pages”, and remove the piece of code that goes after it, i.e. everything up to “Isotope Masonry Magic” line; this should remove the loading problem for the portfolio with blog posts. Please let me know if it works!

KeymasterHey Iionflight,
first of all, thank you for the purchase!
To display custom backgrounds on individual pages, please use the “Background Slider/Source of Images” settings box in the page editor mode: you can choose to source the images from the attachments of the page in question, from a custom folder on the server, or from NextGen and other third-party plugins. I would recommend using the “custom directory” option, so that each individual page has its own folder with a background. Please let me know if this helps!
Sincerely,
Andrii / Satori Studiosatori
KeymasterHey Tiago,
the portfolio doesn’t scroll up after applying a filter because I didn’t envisage that the one-page template would be used with a lot of portfolio items :) my bad. Anyways, I’ve prepared an improved piece of code: please download this archive, unzip it, and upload the contained file into the theme folder (/wp-content/themes/Kanso/). Then refresh the website and test the filter once more – let me know if it is working better now!
Sincerely,
Andrii / Satori Studio -
