I’ll go over the questions one by one:
1). To display the custom header on a page, make sure you’ve chosen the needed header type from the drop-down list in the “Custom Header” box below the text editor area, while in the page edit mode.
2). To decrease the empty space above the header, please go to “Appearance – Editor” and add the following line to the “style.css” file (should be opened by default):
#header-top { margin-top: 20px !important; }
and hit “Update File”. You can of course replace the “20” value with any other figure you like ;)
3). To use a logo, just upload it through the theme options panel, “Page Elements” tab. Let me know if I understood the question correctly!Best,

First of all, thank you for the purchase!
There are at least two ways to do set up a gallery like the one seen in the theme demo (https://satoristudio.net/sensei/image-gallery-2/):
1). using the native WordPress gallery
– press the “Add Media” button above the text editor in the page edit mode.
– in the pop-up window, press “Select files” and choose the files you wish to add to the gallery (you can choose multiple files) and press “Open”.
– once all images are uploaded, press “Save all changes”.
– choose your desired gallery settings (make sure you choose the “Image File” option for “Link thumbnails to” if you want the images to display in an overlay when clicked) and press “Insert gallery”.2). using the the built-in shortcode (this is the one used in the demo)
– perform steps 1-3 of the previous option, but after hitting “Save all changes” simply close the pop-up window.
– now open the shortcode generator (small button in the form of square parentheses right next to the image upload button).
– from the drop-down, choose the “custom_gallery” option.
– choose your desired gallery settings and hit “Insert”.
This option is slightly more flexible because it allows for better fine-tuning, e.g. choosing the exact image sizes, number of images to show, etc. Let me know if anything is unclear ;)Should you have more questions, do not hesitate to contact me!

First of all, thank you for the purchase!
This is indeed caused by the theme’s built-in Twitter plugin, and has been reported and fixed earlier. Strange that it still pops up! In any case, please try the following: download this file, unzip it and upload into wp-content/themes/Origami/includes/twitter-widget folder, replacing the existing file. Let me know if that removes the message – if not, I’ll keep on looking into the problem.Sincerely,

Regarding the threads – it would be better if you created new ones in case of completely new issues – for forum usability sake, it more efficient if separate topics go into different threads so that new visitors have more chances of finding what they need among the previous threads.Best,

It’s surely possible to add a contacts page, for example something like the theme demo: https://satoristudio.net/origami/contact-us-page. To have a Google map displayed in the header, you’ll need to add an address in the Theme Options panel, “Header” tab; then choose the “Contacts: right sidebar, Gmaps header” option from the “Template” dropdown list in the “Page Attributes” box while in the page edit mode. You can insert a custom contact form by clicking the little square brackets icon right above the text editor area, while in the page edit mode.

First of all, thank you for the purchase! Let me go through the issues one by one:
1). to create a submenu in WordPress, go to “Appearance – Menus”, choose the menu you need in the right-hand-side block, and drag the needed item slightly to the right, so that it is indented to the right compared to other menu items. Don’t forget to save the changes ;)
2). In WordPress, you need to insert a special tag into the post content to tell the blog page to display only the content above the tag. In the visual edit mode, use the “Inset more tag” button on the panel above the content; in the HTML mode, the button says “more”; or – you can simply write the tag by hand (see the links below on how it should look like). You can find additional information on using the “more” tag on the WordPress.org official website, here and here.
3). This is due to a recent change in the Twitter API code. I’ve fixed that one in the latest Fuji update (version 1.3) – please download it from your ThemeForest account, the widget should become operations once you update.

if you create a one-level menu and assign it to the theme location I’ve mentioned above, the system should create the exact same menu as in the theme demo. Could you please provide your website URL and send the login details to support@satoristudio.net, so that I could see what might be wrong?

Andrew | SatoriOh, now I understand the source of the problem :) Make sure that in your menu (which is displayed in the area on the right) all the grey item boxes are on the same vertical line, i.e. none of them is indented to the right. See a screenshot here. In WordPress, once you drag a menu item box slightly to the right, the system automatically creates a submenu item.

I started replying to your second topic, and that question became clear to me when I saw this post :)
To create the menu you are speaking about, go to “Appearance – Menus”, find a box called “Theme Locations” in the left top corner, and click on the drop-down list which says “Main Menu Above Content”. Choose the menu you’ve created (use the right-hand-side box for that) and click “Save”. This feature of WordPress is indeed a tricky one – once there are more than one possible menu location in a theme, one needs to assign menus to one of the locations.Should you have more questions, do not hesitate to approach me!
