    Dear Andrew,

I would like to display the Recent Posts Slider on my front page: http://www.foodsleepandsex.com

Thanks for the quick tutorial on using the “more link.” Very helpful :-).

    Be well,
    Susan

    Hi Andrew…
    And…
    I’m back :-).
I can’t get my recent posts slider to display any images. I have a featured image for each of my posts, but when I click “display custom header” it doesn’t display anything but just leaves an empty space between my site title/logo bar and the 1st post.
Also, under reading settings I have selected “summary” but the full post is displayed on my front page. Maybe I just don’t have enough posts yet to activate the summarizing?
    Thanks again,
    Susan

    Hi again, Andrew,

After some thought, you are right that there is a design issue if we do the drop-down from the left side instead of the right. I’m not sure how I feel about that. Let me sit on it a bit.
In the mean-time, I am happy to give you access to my admin if you would be willing to look at the code to straighten out the newsletter sign-up widget…I would even be happy to pay you for your time.
Now, what do *you* think :-)?

    Hi Andrew…

The extra code didn’t make a difference.
Maybe it would help to know that if I add a huge border (like 20px) through the MailChimp setup, the form all fits in the sidebar and just the left side of the border is lost…?

    Thanks,
    Susan

    Thanks Andrew…

    It’s almost there :-).
Still a little cut off on the left and the subscribe button is cut off.
I tried changing the padding value to 15px and 20px, with some success in fixing the subscribe button, but it was still a weird shape.

    Sorry for my code-writing ignorance!

    Be well,
    Susan

ok…you can scratch the former post, but I still need some help.
I de-installed the madmimi widget when I realized it was a 3rd party widget, and re-installed the MailChimp widget. It is working fine but the sign-up form is still too big and it screws up the text layout.
Any (more) help would be much appreciated :-)

    Hi again…

ok, the sigm-up widget looks great, but when i tested it by entering my own email it got crazy.
It returned a bunch code above my top menu and the alignment at the side is off again.
    help!
