Hi once more Leda1979 ;)
To display the theme’s native logo, please upload the image through the Theme Options panel (the corresponding admin menu item), the “Page Elements” tab, “Logo” option. According to your description, the most optimal image would be a rectangle which is 656px wide, with the logo text in the center. In case you do not have graphics software to create such an image (I usually do it in Fireworks, but it can also be easily done in e.g. Photoshop), you can send me the logo text/image and I’ll prepare the image file for you to upload as the final logo :)
Since you’ve changed your website’s theme at the moment, I can only guess, but I’m pretty sure that the “pure questo” phrase comes from the text you’ve entered in the Theme Options panel, the “Page Elements” tab, “Promo text in top menu” option. Please check if that’s the case; then removing this text and hitting “Save All Changes” will remove the text from the menu.
Sincerely,
Andrew | SatorisatoristudioMemberHi Akullander and Leda1979!
Glad you’ve managed to sort it out, thanks to Akullander for the tip!
I must really apologize for the Twitter error – that’s the result of them re-writing their sourcing API. Also, the Origami name thing – that’s really annoying and there’s still no way to stop the updater from mixing the themes up :( I’ve contacted the ThemeForest team concerning this issue and they’re still working on it. Hopefully there’s a way, wouldn’t want to rename my theme :)
…I really need to introduce a nice large search box to my forum, since the knowledge base is starting to “pile up” :) Will work on that this week.
And yes – should you have any other questions or problems with customizing the theme – do not hesitate to approach me!
Best,
Andrew | SatorisatoristudioMemberHey, Cab322003 and Leda1979!
First of all, thank you for the purchase and my apologies for a slow reply! Also, big thanks to Leda1979 for taking the menu question!
Here’s how you create a portfolio page in Origami:
1). Create one or more portfolio items by going to “Portfolio -> Add New” in the admin menu. In case you want your future portfolio to be filterable, be sure to add tags to each portfolio item using the box on the right hand side of the item edit screen.
2). It is recommended to add a featured image to each portfolio item, otherwise only text will show up on the portfolio page. Please see page 4 of the theme manual for a screenshot of how to add a featured image in WordPress.
3). Create a portfolio page by clicking “Pages -> Add New” in the admin menu. In the “Page Attributes” box to the right of the text edit area, choose one of the portfolio-type page templates from the “Template” drop-down (in your case, you’ll want to choose the “2-column” version).
4). Voila! :) If you visit your portfolio page now, you should see the individual items displayed in a grid of one or several columns, depending on how many you chose in the previous step. The filter above the items will consist of the tags you’ve given to your portfolio items. There are some more tips and relevant screenshots on page 4 of the Theme Manual.
In case something is unclear, let me know!Sincerely,
Andrew | SatorisatoristudioMemberHey Cab322003,
you can find the default background texture here:
/Origami/images/default-background.jpgBut there’s an easier way to revert to the original background – simply delete any text you have in the background fields (“Website background: color fill”, “Website background: texture”, “Website background: image”) in Theme Options, Page Elements tab, and hit “Save All Changes” ;)
Best,
Andrew | SatorisatoristudioMemberThanks, Suz, it’s always nice to hear such things!
Please let me know if the 404 error appears again on portfolio pages – if this is a repeating bug, I’ll need to correct it in the theme files for the next theme update.
Sincerely,
Andrew | SatorisatoristudioMemberGood! :) Don’t hesitate to approach me should anything else pops up!
satoristudioMemberGlad it worked ;)

satoristudioMemberHi there once again, Suz :)
Let me go by the list
1). This sounds odd. Could you please provide the URL of your website so I could check it out?
2). Yes, sure, this is exactly why I’ve built in a quick translation module: go to “Localization” on the bottom of your admin menu and input the existing word or expression and the expression you wish to replace it with. Please note that in case of the particular instance you mentioned, you’ll need to add a space before and after “Details” (i.e. make it ” Details “, without quotation marks of course) for the system to recognize the word.Sincerely,
Andrew | SatorisatoristudioMemberHi Suz!
If you choose a particular type of header in the Theme Options panel, it will show on the blog posts page by default – otherwise it would not be possible to show any header there at all, due to the WordPress architecture. Here’s what you can do though: in the Theme Options panel, “Header” tab, choose the “Custom HTML” under the “Content of the custom header”, but do not remove the uploaded image under the “Header: static image” section there. Save the changes. Now go to the page where you want your photo header to display and choose the “Image” option from the “Custom Header” drop-down under the text area editor.
Hope this helps!
Sincerely,
Andrew | SatorisatoristudioMemberHi Suz!
First of all, thank you for the purchase!
The method you are describing looks correct, yet in the latest version of WordPress the titles are slightly different: the frontpage and blog posts page settings are found in the admin menu, under “Settings -> Reading”. Could you please specify which version of WordPress you are using?
Best,
