    Hi Marguerite!

First of all, thank you for the purchase :)

It is indeed possible to have particular posts in the Recent Posts Slider – go to “Appearance -> Recent Posts Slider” and find the “Posts to Include” field – you can input post numbers and have them displayed in the slider at all times.

    Hope this helps!

    Sincerely,
    Andrew | Satori

    Dear Agatha,

thank you for the rating, I think it has been counted :)
Regarding a written comment, there is no special form for that on ThemeForest, so a star rating is perfectly fine, yet if you wish to leave an impression to be featured on my theme’s page, you are of course more than welcome to do so!

    Sincerely,
    Andrew | Satori

    Hi Hobo!

Thank you for expressing interest in Fuji :)

Regarding your question: yes, it’s definitely possible to display galleries instead of single-image posts in the portfolio. The only thing I should note here is that the post will still need to have a featured image to appear in the portfolio page. Please check out the portfolio page in the theme demo: https://satoristudio.net/fuji/portfolio-4-columns/; I’ve made the last item, i.e. the one with mount Fuji and pink sakura, into a gallery post for you to see how it looks. The top featured image does not need to be that large of course, I just left the one that was there :)

If you have more questions, do not hesitate to ask!

    Best,
    Andrew | Satori

    Hi Paul!

Try opening the theme demo in IE now, it should be working as required. I’ve not yet included the fix into the ThemeForest download since it’s too small a change for a new theme version, yet you can download the updated “header.php” file here and upload it into your theme folder, replacing the existing one, to get rid of the issue.

    Sincerely,
    Andrew | Satori

    Dear Agatha,

I’m glad it worked out as needed

..I have a small favour to ask – I would be very grateful if you could rate the theme and the support experience by visiting the “Downloads” tab in your ThemeForest account. Thank you!

Should you have other questions or issues, do not hesitate to approach me!

    Dear Agatha,

I’ve increased the boldness of the filter tags; the colour can be adjusted in the Theme Options panel, the “Style: Content, Widgets” tab, option “Tag, pager, and comment date text color”.

Should you have other questions, do not hesitate to contact me!

    Dear Agatha,

The “previous/next” buttons work as they normally should by default, i.e. go in the direction of the date the posts were published. The twist is that the list on the portfolio page has the most recent items on top, so it looks like the “previous/next” button goes backward :) In any case, I’ve changed the direction of the buttons so that now they follow the same direction as the portfolio list.

I’ve set the font size of the portfolio list to the same 14px as the filter tags. I’ve also decreased the margin between the top menu and the logo area from 50px to 30px. You can change the last figure to anything you want by going to “Appearance -> Editor”, scrolling to the very bottom of the “style.css” file (should be open by default) and altering the “margin-top: 30px” parameter.

    Dear Agatha,

let me explain by using an example. The portfolio taxonomy works as follows:
    – you have e.g. 12 photos, which you’d like to group into 3 series: “superheroes”, “supervillains”, and “sidekicks”.
    – create 12 posts of type “Portfolio” (go to “Portfolio -> Add New” in the admin), each featuring one of the images.
    – create 3 portfolio tags to categorize the items according to the series (go to “Portfolio -> Tags”).
    – assign one (or more) tag(s) to each portfolio post using the “Tags” box to the right of the text editor while in the edit mode for the corresponding portfolio post.
    – the tags which are assigned to at least one post will show up in the filter on the portfolio page.
    – when you click on a filter tag, the page will display only those photos that fall into the corresponding series, i.e. are marked with that tag.

Hope this helps shed some light on the portfolio system :) In case I’ve missed the point and there’s something else you’d like the portfolio taxonomy to look like, let me know!

    Best,
    Andrew | Satori

P.S. cool photo/art style btw, reminds me of a caleidoscope or a collage :)
