    Could you please provide a URL of your live website, as well as login/password to the admin area (these you can send to support@satoristudio.net, no disclosure guaranteed) – this way I will be able to find the cause of the issue in the fastest possible manner!

    Thanks,

    Hey Kspa!

    First of all, thank you for the purchase!
    Strangely enough, I can’t seem to be able to replicate the error on a Fuji installation – in case there are no attached images, the shortcode should display a message, not empty image placeholders (“jCarousel: no attached images, or only one attached image…”).

    Let’s troubleshoot step by step:
    1). Make sure the post you are referencing in the shortcode (in this case post ID 117) has attached images (you can check that by pressing the “Add media” button above the text editor area when in the page/post edit mode, and choosing the “Gallery” tab in the resulting pop-up window).
    2). If you have third-party plugins installed, try disabling them all and checking if the jCarousel works; if it does, enabling the plugins one by one will help identify the “culprit”.

    Let me know if the above steps bring any results!

    Sincerely,
    Andrew | Satori

    Hey Spencer!

    To remove the date and author meta tags from posts, please go to “Appearance – Editor” and add this line at the bottom of the “style.css” file (should be opened by default):
    .meta-author, .meta-date { display: none !important; }
    and hit the “Update File” button.

    Hey Spencer!

    First of all, thank you for the purchase! Regarding your question – I must apologize, this is my mistake. I will definitely include a fix in the next theme update, but you can correct the issue right now by going to “Appearance – Editor” and adding this line at the bottom of the “style.css” file (should be opened by default):
    .aligncenter { margin-left: auto !important; margin-right: auto !important; display: block !important; }
    and do not forget to hit “Update File”. Let me know if this works!

    Hey Sandra!

    I’ll go over the questions one by one:
    1). To display the custom header on a page, make sure you’ve chosen the needed header type from the drop-down list in the “Custom Header” box below the text editor area, while in the page edit mode.
    2). To decrease the empty space above the header, please go to “Appearance – Editor” and add the following line to the “style.css” file (should be opened by default):
    #header-top { margin-top: 20px !important; }
    and hit “Update File”. You can of course replace the “20” value with any other figure you like ;)
    3). To use a logo, just upload it through the theme options panel, “Page Elements” tab. Let me know if I understood the question correctly!

    Hey ODG!

    First of all, thank you for the purchase!

    There are at least two ways to do set up a gallery like the one seen in the theme demo (https://satoristudio.net/sensei/image-gallery-2/):

    1). using the native WordPress gallery
    – press the “Add Media” button above the text editor in the page edit mode.
    – in the pop-up window, press “Select files” and choose the files you wish to add to the gallery (you can choose multiple files) and press “Open”.
    – once all images are uploaded, press “Save all changes”.
    – choose your desired gallery settings (make sure you choose the “Image File” option for “Link thumbnails to” if you want the images to display in an overlay when clicked) and press “Insert gallery”.

    2). using the the built-in shortcode (this is the one used in the demo)
    – perform steps 1-3 of the previous option, but after hitting “Save all changes” simply close the pop-up window.
    – now open the shortcode generator (small button in the form of square parentheses right next to the image upload button).
    – from the drop-down, choose the “custom_gallery” option.
    – choose your desired gallery settings and hit “Insert”.
    This option is slightly more flexible because it allows for better fine-tuning, e.g. choosing the exact image sizes, number of images to show, etc. Let me know if anything is unclear ;)

    Should you have more questions, do not hesitate to contact me!

    Sincerely,
    Andrew | Satori

    Hey Akillander!

    First of all, thank you for the purchase!
    This is indeed caused by the theme’s built-in Twitter plugin, and has been reported and fixed earlier. Strange that it still pops up! In any case, please try the following: download this file, unzip it and upload into wp-content/themes/Origami/includes/twitter-widget folder, replacing the existing file. Let me know if that removes the message – if not, I’ll keep on looking into the problem.

    Sincerely,

    Dear Chris,

    sure, any time ;)
    Regarding the threads – it would be better if you created new ones in case of completely new issues – for forum usability sake, it more efficient if separate topics go into different threads so that new visitors have more chances of finding what they need among the previous threads.

    Hey Chris,

    glad it’s working now ;)

    It’s surely possible to add a contacts page, for example something like the theme demo: https://satoristudio.net/origami/contact-us-page. To have a Google map displayed in the header, you’ll need to add an address in the Theme Options panel, “Header” tab; then choose the “Contacts: right sidebar, Gmaps header” option from the “Template” dropdown list in the “Page Attributes” box while in the page edit mode. You can insert a custom contact form by clicking the little square brackets icon right above the text editor area, while in the page edit mode.

    Sincerely,
    Andrew | Satori
