Hey RadoV,
Ikebana is actively supported, just like all other Satori Studio themes. Could you please specify what made you conclude that support is not available? Thanks!
Sincerely,
Andrii / Satori StudiosatoriKeymasterHey Chelawonk,
the theme will automatically substitute the icon menu filter triggers with links to respective portfolio tag pages once you move away form the portfolio page (e.g. if you click on the “Features” top menu item in the demo and then click on any of the icon menu items, it will not bring you to the front page, but to a tag archive page, which you can see by the URL). In order for this mechanism to work, please make sure that the “Filter” field in the icon menu items in the “Icon Menu” tab of the Theme Options panel contains the name of the portfolio tag (it’s not case-sensitive).
Sincerely,
Andrii / Satori StudiosatoriKeymasterHey Chelawonk,
glad to hear that you’ve found a way! In case of other questions, do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
Andrii / Satori StudiosatoriKeymasterHey Chelawonk,
this option has not been explicitly envisaged in Ikebana as a back-end setting, primarily because a centered button would obscure parts of the content, which is not good for the user experience. However, if you need to, you can center the scroll-to-top element by adding this line to the “Style: Add Custom CSS” tab of the Theme Options panel:
.scrolltop { right: 50% !important; }
Sincerely,
Andrii / Satori StudiosatoriKeymasterHey Multipas,
first of all, thank you for choosing Origami, and my apologies for the delay in my reply!
I can see that the link you’ve provided above uses another theme at the moment, yet I will go over the questions just in case, in the same order:
1). Origami currently does not support second-level submenus, yet we will add this to our list of features for the next theme update. Thank you for the idea!
2). In case you mean the “Appearance -> Customize” admin page, please make sure that you’ve upgraded to the latest version of WordPress (4.3) and are using the latest version of the theme (1.2), which you can always download from the “Downloads” tab of your ThemeForest account. If you are already using both of the above and the page still does not function, please let me know, I will continue the investigation.
Sincerely,
Andrii / Satori StudiosatoriKeymasterHey Creadvhouse,
first of all, thank you for using Kabuki!
In WordPress, the front page of the website can be configured in the “Settings -> Reading” admin menu; you can create a new page and tell WP to display it as the front page – or display blog posts on the front page (which is the default behaviour). Note that this is not theme-specific, and thus can be done with any particular theme currently active. In order to display a background slider, please use the “Page: Background Slider” template in the “Page Attributes” box while creating the page.
Sincerely,
Andrii / Satori StudiosatoriKeymasterHey Andirrashi,
– since lazy loading for images as well as preloaders are not part of the theme, it is up to you to impkement the respective solution, either as a third-party plugin or a custom solution.
– for the images to align vertically, you can either declare explicit height for all images, use the “display: table” property on the parent element and then align the images themselves, or simply use images that are of equal height to begin with.
– in orderfor the images to look sharp on high-resolution displays, please use images which are 2 times larger so that the scaled verdions are crisp enough.
Sincerely,
Andrii / Satori StudiosatoriKeymasterHey Andirrashi,
I will cover your questions in the same order below:
– thank you for the idea, I will consider adding this feature in the next theme update;
– regarding the preloader for tiles, I suppose you imply images mostly here (if not, please correct me). You can try using a lazy load plugin to make the process of loading tile images smoother.Sincerely,
Andrii / Satori StudiosatoriKeymasterHello J!
the theme itself does not limit the number of levels of comments, it only styles the ones that are >5 levels deep without further indents, otherwise they’d become too narrow to be usable. Please use the standard native “Enable threaded (nested) comments X levels deep” in the “Other comment settings” section of the “Settings -> Discussion” admin menu to increase the number of possible comment reply levels.
Sincerely,
Andrii / Satori StudiosatoriKeymasterHey Hazel,
just wanted to let you know that ThemeForest was really fast this time – the 1.7 version is already available online ;)
Sincerely,
Andrii / Satori Studio -
