I have downloaded the theme but wordpress will not accept it as my hosting already has the file and it won’t overwrite it. I get the following message:
Destination folder already exists. /home/sites/alangregory.net/public_html/wp-content/themes/Ikebana/
Theme install failed.
alangregMemberHi
sorry – worked it out. Had the page as a Gallery instead of Standard.
alangregMemberits only a draft so may not appear in the link, but image is appearing twice even though i inserted it into the page only once
alangregMemberthanks
is it possible to have text that actually changes rather than being fixed text – like this https://www.heeleypeoplespark.co.uk/ or can you recommend a plugin that would do this
alangregMemberthanks
another option i was thinkin of doing was to design the header like a home page. are there any restrictions on the height of the header and the position of the main navigation menu?
also – does the slider have the option to include hyperlinks to external sites?
alangregMemberthanks
I had to input not the @import text but the actual link which was
@font-face {
font-family: ‘Montserrat Light’;
font-style: normal;
font-weight: 400;
src: local(‘Montserrat Light’), local(‘Montserrat-Light’),
url(http://allfont.net/cache/fonts/montserrat-light_d508f4bcd80b35f5ab68ae7d0e466277.woff) format(‘woff’),
url(http://allfont.net/cache/fonts/montserrat-light_d508f4bcd80b35f5ab68ae7d0e466277.ttf) format(‘truetype’);
}alangregMemberi just want to use tt for the headings and primary menu. what do i input?
alangregMemberand this:
@import url(http://allfont.net/allfont.css?fonts=montserrat-light);
{
font-family: ‘Montserrat Light’, open sans;
}alangregMemberthanks – i put this in the Add custom css but nothing affected
@import {
font-family: ‘Montserrat Light’, open sans;
src: url(http://allfont.net/allfont.css?fonts=montserrat-light);}
alangregMemberthanks – in a previous chat you mentioned a guide as to how to install the css but there was no link. Do you have any instrucions on how to actually put in the new css – it is not clear on the allfont site.
