Theme not working at all

Just did a clean install of WordPress. If I try to preview the Theme I just get a blank page. If I activate the theme I can no longer access any of the wp-admin pages at all and they all show this error:

The interactpcb.com page isn’t working

interactpcb.com is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500

, and viewing the site shows the previous theme. I installed the theme using the “Upload” theme option.

The WP install works with all 3 default themes. Help.

OK – I put WP into debug mode and got this when I tried to preview:

OK – looks like I did not have php-xml installed. Pressing forward.
