I would love to display the social sharing buttons in the menu bar the way you have them on the demo site. Where can I find this option?

Ok, I figured out where it is in the widgets, but when I try to customize it, I only see the right half of the customizing box…the left half gets hidden behind my admin menu…

    Hey Susan,

glad to hear the issue has been resolved! Could you please tell me in more details what the problem was and how you tackled it? This may help improve the theme and support for future users. Thank you!

    Sincerely,

    Hi Andrii,

Yes, the buttons are now showing up in my menu bar. But there is still a problem:
Even though I have filled in just the whole URL for the FB page and LinkedIn account, for some reason those buttons lead the client to a 404 error message within in the site. For example, instead of leading to http://www.facebook.com/foodsleepandsex, the FB button redirects to http://foodsleepandsex.com/www.facebook.com/foodsleepandsex and produces an error message. This happens with LinkedIn also, but not with Google + or with Twitter…

To fix the issue of the customizing window being cut off, I had to move my browser window all the way to the right of my screen and then stretch it back to the left side. This allowed more of the left side of the customizing window to be visible. It was a bit clunky of a fix, but it worked fine. I then opened a new window to check that it was showing up correctly on the front end.

Can you help me fix the problem with the redirects?

    Thanks as always :-),
    Susan

    Hello Andrii…

Any suggestions for the misdirecting social media buttons?

    Hey Susan,

I apologize for the delay in my reply!
Regarding the header social link issue – please make sure that while customizing the widget, you input the entire URL of the respective page/stream, i.e. “https://www.facebook.com/satoristudio.net” instead of “www.facebook.com/satoristudio.net” or just “satoristudio.net”. You can get the full URL if you open the respective page in your browser and copy-paste the link from the browser’s address bar. Please let me know if it helps!

    Sincerely,
    Andrii / Satori Studio

    Hi Andrii,

You’re right, this was the issue.
Thank you so much once again!
    Be well,
    Susan
