☑︎ coupon checked for validity in March 2024

If you are building a website for your online endeavour, you have most likely heard (and highly probably using) the WordPress content management system. And if you decide to go for a premium-class theme for your WP install, ThemeForest is one of the first places you’ll be recommended.

And for a good reason – it’s the largest template marketplace on the web, offering thousands of items for WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, and other popular CMS. When it comes to making a purchase on ThemeForest, though, you realize that the prices are quite steep (they’ve gone up several times in the recent years, following the growing popularity of the marketplace) – and it wouldn’t hurt having a discount code. The question is – does it exist?

Does the Coupon Code Exist?

If you google “themeforest coupon“, you will get dozens of results, which are mostly unmoderated coupon aggregators. All of them claim to offer a discount of one or another type for TF purchases, but before you try any of them, here’s some useful information: there’s no field for applying a coupon or a promo code in the ThemeForest checkout process.

Don’t take our word for it, try going through all the checkout steps yourself; you can fill in all the info up to the credit card details, which is the last step in any online shop’s checkout – you will not find a field to input a coupon code anywhere. Which implies that none of the codes offered on coupon websites from the search results above is legit!

Unfortunately, it can be argued that a valid ThemeForest coupon does not exist, because their checkout system simply does not envisage applying one. You can verify this by visiting ThemeForest, clicking on the green “Purchase” button on any item’s page, and proceed to checkout from the overlay. This does not mean that it is the end of the story, though. Read on for an alternative solution.

What Can I Do Instead?

One way of looking at the situation is as follows: most high-selling WordPress themes have a very similar set of features and capabilities, as well as offer uniformly high design standards – so a reasonable question to ask is: why buy one on ThemeForest if you can easily find an alternative on the second-largest marketplace, TemplateMonster?

The choice is no less wide, and in addition to getting a theme you can also order handy additional services, from pre-installed must-have plugins to hosting or a page builder license. The best part – TemplateMonster does offer coupon codes, and you can get one following the instructions below:

  1. Click on the below link to open the official TemplateMonster home page (it will open in a separate tab so that you can continue following the current guile):

    Get 10% off TemplateMonster ›

  2. Browse the marketplace for the item(s) you require, add them to your cart, and click on the red shopping cart icon in right part of the website’s header; there’s no need to create an account just yet.
  3. In the right sidebar of the checkout page, you’ll see the list of items you’ve added to the cart, as well as a link underneath saying “Have a promo code? Add it here” – click on it and a new field will expand, where you can add the following exclusive promo code:

    qlzcyd0wx0l9bmm21387gkz80
  4. After pasting the code into the field, click on the blue “Apply” button below and the price will update itself to include the 10% discount.

I get to know that Dealhack coupons are much better than remaining sites after searching many coupon sites. I bought the best themes for my websites using a promo code from it. I got 50% off on my purchase.

i can testify that the couponcode still works, just used it today

Finally ,a post on this topic which does not force you to click through tons of shady-looking links to find one working code

hahah clicked on this one in my search results with no expectations after reading the title, was not disappointed ))

okay so i guess its templatemonster for me then…

Hello Ulrich, the article above reflects the situation to the best of our knowledge – we are constantly updating our content, so if anything changes with respect to the ThemeForest coupon, it will get reflected in the text. Thanks for understanding!

Ignacio Mendez

blurt it out dude!

he’s bluffing fo sure

too bad the themeforest coupon doesnt work it has much more theme choice than this monster platform

so I visit the Template Monster site and pick some random theme and go to the shopping cart and hen checkout and try entering the promo code and it is accepted but the price is not reduced instead its written “this product is a loyalty program” or smth like that. Could you please clarify?

The promo code is not valid for items that are already discounted or a part of special offers and bundles.

I see okay thanks

what do you mean I cant use a coupon on TF??!

tried the template monster code and it works yhanks guys!

What this essentially means to me is that Theme Forest is so confident in its ability to attract new users and retain existing ones taht they don’t even bother with such nuisances are promos and coupons

..or they simply don’t care :)

should’ve found this piece a little earlier, would’ve saved me some time

Thank you. agree with you. I got a coupon code and when I checked out, there was no place to apply it.
